The Friends of Rittenhouse Square are thrilled to invite you to the Ball on the Square, an unforgettable Gala and one of the last remaining black-tie events in Philadelphia. This incredible evening returns on June 18th, 2026, when the center of Rittenhouse Square will be transformed into a beautiful ballroom for our guests to enjoy.
And this years’ Ball is looking to be one of the best ever - an amazing band, delicious cuisine, and an unforgettable evening of celebration under an elegantly decorated tent. Proceeds for this event go directly towards furthering the incredible work of preserving, protecting, and beautifying Rittenhouse Square.
This year, we are so thrilled to honor Barbara Eberlein for her extraordinary accomplishments - in Rittenhouse Square, and all across Philadelphia. Few in the history of the Friends have had such a tremendous impact on our built environment and preservation of our City and its’ institutions.
