The perimeter sidewalk around the Square will be filled with canopies, tents and displays on September 17, 18 and 19 for the Rittenhouse Square Fine Arts Show.
Come take a walk, see the art, and Circle the Square!

Have your Affair in the Square in June 2011!
For the first time ever, the huge tent that houses The Ball on The Square is
now available to be rented by others. Available dates are June 18, 19, and
20. Imagine how stunning your event will be! Instead of a hotel ballroom,
your party will be in the heart of Philadelphia's most gorgeous,
Parisian-style park.
The 50 x 100 tent, plus ancillary tenting and walkways, is permitted for 300
people. The tenting will stay up throughout the weekend.
This rare opportunity is available to your charitable organization or
private event not only this year, but also on the third Friday, Saturday,
and Sunday of June, 2011 and beyond.
Details:
*Rental is arranged by making a charitable contribution to the Friends of
Rittenhouse Square.
*Your event must be approved by Fairmount Park.
*If approved, your event will be covered under the permit granted to the
Friends of Rittenhouse Square.
*You must use Fairmount Park suppliers for park-related services (i.e. water
and electrical hook-up).
*In 2011, you must use Stephen Starr Events, which will have a full
kitchen in place from the Ball on the Square.
*Your rental of the tent is for one day only, 12:01 AM to 11:59 PM. It must
be left broom-clean for the next event.
*Rental of other services - i.e. air conditioning, lighting, dance floor,
portapots - is available from the Ball's suppliers, or at your discretion.
*Parking - there are 5 parking lots immediately surrounding the Square. We
are happy to share our list of parking suppliers with you.
